Sinopsis
An autonomous piece of the installation "The Tendency to Forget" where, once again, the Portuguese-South African artist starts from a reflection on architecture to “stir up” the Portuguese colonial past. In this film, Ângela Ferreira highlights the scientific contribution of the Portuguese anthropologist couple Jorge and Margot Dias for their investigations on the Maconde people, but also the complicity between the production of knowledge and political power, between anthropology and colonialism.
